Stealth Stalker
I took my sisters fella out bunny bashing last night, he's fairly new to the sport and was eager to get on my new sportsground thats heaving with rabbits. I dragged him along to the the gun shop last year and he acquired a new Logun solo .22, he's a busy bloke so doesn't get out much, so I felt obliged to get him out & show him some bunny action. We got to the sportsground and he was immediately presented with an easy 20 yarder, that he promptly missed Oh well beginners nerves, I thought. On to the next one & he missed again, I saw the pellet strike ground high to the right. So I set him up a target & zero'd him in. He was shooting 1.5" high & 1" right. According to him it was zero'd last time he used it That done, he then started to knock them over confidently, he took the close in 20 to 30 yarders & I took anything further out. Light stopped play with a count of 11 in the bag with at least 4 lost in nettles No room for the dog! A happy steve with the bunnys, just before I made him help me paunch them

the pelt man
SS Only another 9989 to go. I bet you cant shoot them as fast as they can breed. Park Street guns will be out of Pellets the way you are going. Please leave some for the rest of us . I've had a thought, the amount you are going to be getting over there, & you dont want to waste them. Gut, skin & quarter them (no head) then freeze. Advertize in local rag Fresh/Frozen Rabbits £2 each top quality dog food. Maybe try the old marketing ploy to start "buy 1 get 1 Free or go up the local park & ask dog walkers would the like to try one free for the Dog & see if they would like to order 1 a week/1 a month if the Dog likes it. We know that the Dogs ain't going to let you down every Dog goes mad for Rabbits. FRESH, CHEMICAL FREE, QUALITY MEAT THAT DOGS GO MAD FOR. If you dont keep the livers for yourself, any that are clean of white spots/flecks please could i have off you. I make a mean Liver pate i'll give you some after i've made it. Stealth Stalker
Pelt man Thats a good idea, I shifted a few down at the butchers and gave the rest to members of my clay club. Butcher doesn't want any more for the time being as they are not shifting them this time of year I'll save the livers for you, the pate sounds nice. Deadeye Your not wrong they are already getting twitchy when the landy rolls in to the field, the ferals & other pests get my attention then.
