I'm from the North East coast just outside Newcastle. I run Tyne Valley Rifle Club which shoots at Ponteland and am an RFD. Also work at a local indoor range/gunshop. Started shooting in 1987 or '88 when I was 15, 16'ish. Got my FAC at 17 and first purchase was .357 Magnum Smith & Wesson model 66 with a 4" barrel. Was mostly into pistol shooting until the ban in 1997. currently shoot a Mannlicher SSG, an old 6.5x54mm Mannlicher full-stocked carbine built in 1929, a Ruger 77/44 a .14 Walker Hornet built on a Ruger 77-Hornet action amongst other stuff.
