JR1960
Just purchased a Ruger M77 mkII .22/250, what do you guys reckon is the most cost effective moderator? i.e the LEAST bang for your buck. Having spent a few hundred on the rifle I don't particularly want to spend £1k on a moderator, alternatively I don't want to spend a £100 on something that's useless. So what do we reckon?? Anyone got one they want to get shot of?? It's apparently threaded 1/2" UNF (although I haven't checked it.)

steve_b_wales
T8's on two of my centerfire rifles. Brilliant bits of kit, and certainly not as bad as some people say about them.
pigglet
Thirdeye Spartan. Fully stripable, compact and a world away from the monstrous heavy old lump that is a T8. They've got stainless inserts in the baffles too so should last considerably longer than something with all alloy baffles.
