southrop
Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith in the Preston area for things like annual servicing and fitting recoil pads etc.?
Gordon R
Malmo near Garstang and Tim McAvoy at Standish.
southrop
Thanks Gordon Do you know who they use? I didn't think either had anyone on site?
Mr Potter
Malmo near Garstang and Tim McAvoy at Standish. I think McAvoy's uses Dave Walker in Warrington http://www.davewalkerfirearmrepairs.co.uk/ I would highly recommend him, he repaired my Miroku in record time (including taking it away on holiday with him for a long weekend away) to get me away on my shooting trip to Holland last year. Gordon R
I think Harry Nich' does the woodwork for Malmo. Don't know who McAvoys use for the more complicated repairs. I believe that some are done on site.
southrop
Anyone know Alan Myers near Preston? Spotted his name whilst googling. Just need a recoil pad fitting prefer somewhere local.
BlaserF3
I am positive that Alan Myres does not do "run of the mill" gun repairs.
southrop
That's a pity as he's only down the road. Any other recommendations? I prefer to go direct rather than through a dealer as I'm looking for a quick turnaround.
davecooper1
Tim Mcavoy is best round here for repairs mate.
