storme37
foxes at dusk or dawn but i take it its not done i was just curious if popping a dot on a fox could improve the shot
Thunderbird
Not sure about that, just wondering if it was for the kind of target which you need to move/swing the gun for (like a pigeon, clay or real) or a target like a fox which could well be stationery. HDAV
You can put a red dot on a shotgun..... http://www.redringsight.com/ this could be the better solution its just amazing! Edited March 14, 2012 by HDAV
storme37
dont think the dot would help with fast targets may with slower of stationary the red ring looks good for birds or clays Edited March 14, 2012 by storme37
HDAV
the red ring looks good for birds or clays Did you watch the video? It's perfect for foxes (cardboard ones) and the ring matches the shot diameter (amazing considering the multiple chokes and cartridge combinations.....) bicykillgaz
I've got a red dot which i never mounted, paid about £20-25.00 for it i'd take 20 posted or swap for something, cz .22 mag or something else shooting related.
HDAV
£675 JHC!!! A very small price to pay if it does what it says in the blurb..... Of course it is total rubbish and makes stupid claims but an impressive video had me fooled for 30 seconds..... There are good reasons why shotguns dont have lots of sighting apparatus..........
