Gnome of the Woods
I tried a trap one and it fitted perfectly, does anybody know if the stocks were adjusted on the Teague or Coley sporter versions?
BlaserF3
I tried a trap one and it fitted perfectly, does anybody know if the stocks were adjusted on the Teague or Coley sporter versions? I've never seen one, the sporter version is way too low for me. According to the Miroku website only the trap version is adjustable.
wj939
Why not get the trap one n get the chokes opened or teagued?
Gnome of the Woods
Why not get the trap one n get the chokes opened or teagued? Good point, looking around it may be a cheaper way of doing it. Mind you the way I shoot I doubt changeable chokes would make any difference! VicW
If the trap version fits you then get it and shoot it as is with its 3/4 & full chokes and see how you get on. You can always alter the chokes if you find it too tight. Vic.

Gordon R
A lot of MK38s have already had the conversion. Get one that has had the work done - it's cheaper.
Gnome of the Woods
It's not the chokes I am worried about it is the stock, I need approx 5mm rise to use the Beretta, Browings are a lot closer but the Miroku fitted. I am going with Terry to see if the Beretta can be fitted but I think it may be to much.
Gordon R
Get the stock made adjustable. Cheaper than Teagues.

twitchynik
Beretta's are generally lower in the comb than a Miroku. The trap MK38 is noticeably higher than a 687 sporter. You'll not be able to rise your Beretta comb enough if an MK38 trap fits you - I've been there. £60 to bore out the chokes. Give Trevor at Rickmansworth a ring, he might still have my MK38 trap with 1/4 1/2. Edited March 30, 2012 by twitchynik

BlaserF3
Most trap guns are set up to shoot the bottom barrel slightly higher than the top, Mk 38's included.
