Not sure about the rifle as its a special import but about 3.5K scope is 1.6k and mount was £300

ammo is fun varies from £48-£96 a box of 20 I currently use RWS 285 gr sp.s

 

 

coparision is 7mm rem mag 9.3 and 22250

The money you invest in going abroad to shoot big game £3-4 a shot isnt lot when you may only fire a couple if your lucky.

I'd love to fire £100 's worth what a holiday that would be.

zeroing it this afternoon will be the painful bit but will be fun. :good:

Don't forget this set up is designed for big game close in often running. (not for 300m foxing.

the pig targets are about 3 1/2 inch deep

Zero target wlking shots down to bull @ 50m

x3 shots from bottom barrel S+B 285gr

lower one was an RWS 285 from top barrel

top barrel shares a "common zero" at 50m's then starts to shoot lower at 100+m's.

had to sit down........

just collected the reloading dies for the beast...................... I had to sit down. £97

powder and 100 speer bullet heads (which were old stock and cheap) a shell holder and lube........£219

i will post results as i work the loads,

i am looking for a lighter "practice" round for starters.
