Luckyshot
The weather was terrible last night but still managed to get out for an hour on a local permission of mine. I took the 22 last night as this is only a small horse paddock around 7 acres. I setup on the stable roof with my 22 and archer combo and shot these 10 rabbits which came from the wheat field to the side of me. Not a big bag but atleast I managed to get out the house for an hour.

If you had half a clue about NV you would know that you need a similar scope to the one fitted to my CZ22 to make the best of your NV. SAVAGE HMR
Good shooting mate, been thinking about getting myself another NV add-on. Had a Yukon one a while ago but it wasn't great. How's the Archer for range and cost?

How's the Archer for range and cost? Depends on what you are shooting, my furthest shot to date is a rabbit at 200 yards with my 243 as for cost no change from £2000 for my archer. Oooooooft! £2000 is a bit of a whack. I think if I was going to splash out that kind of money on an N.V. unit I'd have to go with the Deben PS-22, at least that way you don't have to strain your neck to look through the scope. Is your Archer a gen 2 or 3?

Is your Archer a gen 2 or 3? Its a gen 3 C grade tube. On my 22 in the picture above you do not strain your neck at all, it just depends what rifle you are using if need be I use a stock extender.
