al4x
they last ages as well colin which is why everyone that has one raves about them. Not bad for a tenner to have one that actually keeps an edge. Mine tends to do the whole deer thing from gralloching to butchering and though there are better options it seems to manage
colin lad
they last ages as well colin which is why everyone that has one raves about them. Not bad for a tenner to have one that actually keeps an edge. Mine tends to do the whole deer thing from gralloching to butchering and though there are better options it seems to manage it does seem to be well made and the handle is very comfy and grippy too which isn't a bad thing if your hand is covered in blood as you don't want your hand slipping down the blade i have done that and it's not nice colin

PigeonEater
Opinel carbon over 10 years old and still going strong Will vouch for opinel lambone knives. They are the nuts as far as cheap knives go.

Whitebridges
I was intrigued by the Mora recommendations so bought a couple off Amazon with poofy leather sheaths. The arrived the following day and they are really good for the money. Good to have something a bit bigger than my Opinels. Whitebridges
I want a poofy sheath!! Ive got two clippers but both with the plastic sheaths did the sheath come with them? I know, I know  Handy though for when I pop down to Essex and Suffolk. Yup got the plastic ones as well, so I can use the knives locally. al4x
the plastic ones are much better from a hygiene point of view, just chuck them in the dishwasher and you are good to go again. Thats for those of us that prefer not to introduce salmonella and various other nasties into our sausages etc
