jgguinness
Hi all, well my ticket came through the other day. Took around 5 weeks from Northumbria. So Sat morning went shopping and I picked up an almost new CZ Silhouette 16" barrel 10 shot mag and a Scirocco mod. Bought 500 Win Subs and put a Meopta 7x50 scope on top that I bought off a mate. Got out this afternoon and zeroed it in. Shoots very well, lovely grouping, bang on at 75 yards. Mod works very well too, nice and quiet. Anyway here is a pic Kind regards Jonathan Edited May 8, 2012 by jgguinness

jgguinness
Cheers guys. The trigger hasn't been done so will probably do that in the near future. The mod is good but a bit fiddly to clean. Can't wait to christen it with a rabbit..maybe tomorrow night

jgguinness
iv had 2 of them nice guns or and get a new sling thats awwwfull lol Ha its one of those Niggeloh slings, rather good really. I bought it for an air rifle and shotguns as I didnt want to drill into the stocks and put swivels on them. However the CZ has points for a sling already in it so I guess I can put a normal sling on it. Jonathan
Luckyshot
All the trigger kits are very similar and all do the same job. Cost is around £15 and under and is a DIY job for most people. Although your rifle has sling studs in the stock beware that sometimes they pull through the plastic and a small repair job is needed (as happened to mine)
pat g
Hi Johnathon, Good set up there and will serve you well. My brother got the same set up a few months ago. Trigger kit i would personally recommend Rimfire Magic. They are pretty much all the same but these guys are a great company to deal with IMO. Thats where i got mine for my HMR. First and foremost though heed luckyshots advice with regard to the sling swivel studs. If you have a look at them closely or remove one you will be quite alarmed as to how insecure they are and can, and do come away from the synthetic stocks of CZ's. What i did with my brothers CZ was to purchase a Harris bipod swivel. I then countersunk the stud with a Dremmel and i then used epoxy resin and tightened the stud back into the stock. Honestly its the best modification you can do and i would certainly do it before the trigger job. One word as regards to the trigger job as well. Your kit will come with 3 springs of differing weights. Don't be tempted to install the lightest one as the trigger pull will be around about 1lb pull weight which is not safe for field use. Enjoy your new rifle ATB, Pat
