BSA-airgunner
as you know my boy got his S.G.C this week and as the sun is out (hard to be leave) we headed of to Southdown for is very first go at clays i put him on stand 7 on the skeet as i think this is the easiest one to hit..he did try all of the stands but is struggling with them he did hit a couple from stand 1 the away and the incoming ...i can see this getting expensive... beretta
would strongly advise some eye wear shooting skeet.
caeser
Excellent. By that slight grin on his face, I think he's already hooked.
Jega
would strongly advise some eye wear shooting skeet. As well as some form of hat to protect from shrapnel coming in . Apart from that well done young man,now dad i assume you have of course by now realised that at some stage in the very ,very ,near future hes going to slaughter you in front of everyone else. You dont really think you can match a young un's eyes / reactions /enthusiasm once hes picked uo the basics do you? This is all well and good until some ******(usually one of your mates) says "take him on for a £10 young un" THEN it gets bloody expensive . How do i know all this ,easy because 10 years ago i started my lad out on the same route as your taking. Seriously mate i can think of few better ways to spend hours and hours then out with my lad and the guns, be it air rifle hunting, clay shooting,or general shooting. The phrase "quality time " doesn't even come close to describing these precious hours together . Make the most of it mate and good luck. Edited May 12, 2012 by Jega

If the excuses dont work i found that "its a long walk home from here ,isn't it?" did the trick

shaun4860
Well done, its nice to see youngsters learning. TIP....If he starts hitting them all from stations 1&7 then put the little ****** on Station 4, that should sort him out....
