killer_pigeon
Did this while cleaning the shotgun this morning, its managed to swell right down after a bag of peas was placed over the injury, but being a hard man i didnt cry or swear but how its smarts ! The cleaning rod managed to slip out the barrel breech and straight onto my hand while i was spearing a load of stuck tissue, plus with a brass jag on the end of it its exfoliated about 4 layers of skin so my hand should look youthful and smooth in a couple days time. I wasnt concentrating as the other half was shouting something at me from the garden, but being a bloke i couldnt listen and clean at same time, so please pay the jag some respect ! Brad93
Best one I've had is when my silver pigeon new at the time had quite a bit of lead down it, brass brush got a bit stuck, wasnt paying attention, pushed harder and my finger met the ejector which was unworn and pretty sharp! Nice big cut and the beretta had its first taste of blood haha! Hope it heals up quickly for you mate, the cleaning gear definitely commands some respect and due attention
