depends entirely where you are, flog them at £300 here and you will be amongst the un tested puppies price wise. I'd go towards the £500 and sell them as decent pups with the right tests done. Fundamentally the purchase price of a pup is the least of a potential owners costs compared to buying one with iffy hips that will cost a fortune over its lifetime.

Not convinced the current market will take 500 / 550, I've found pup enquiries thin on the ground, particularly for dog pups.

I've my labs up for 450 / 500, they're well related, KC reg'd, the dog has full health tests & my bitch has eyes / elbows / hips. I sort of regret not PRA / CNM testing her but I plan to test her soon as I'm keeping a bitch, so if she's clear it'll save me the £250 on doing the pup.

It's a fair comment, the market will dictate what you can get especially with a breed like a labrador or a springer. Sadly responsible breeding from good working, health tested stock is not necessarily reflected in what the market will pay.

As a money making exercise getting a labrador health tested is a waste of time, pups from untested stock are regularly being offered for similar money to mine. Very few punters seem to either know or care about health testing. To me it's about morals but having them does make me wonder a bit.
