timb
Hi, looking forward to my day out in London for the shooting, and just wondered if there will be any trade stands there where I might pick up a bargain or two ? Does anyone have any knowledge ? Yes, I know it should have been at Bisley, but I'm going anyway. Thanks, Timb
unclestuffy
I am surprised that they have sold tickets to the public and told people where it is? I suspect that they will put a big brown paper bag over the whole shooting event incase one of the youth might be inspired to take up shooting and be the next olympic champion - we all know that when a child sees a gun they immediatley want to be a ganster!!! Fatcatsplat
I would think highly unlikely given the corporate sponsorship deals - Unless Beretta, Browning or whoever have a hand in sponsorship i reckon your money will get spent on Olympic tat and food. Vipa
I can't see there being any trade stands there.. this is the olympics, not the CLA game fair! Would you expect to see trade stands from all the major running shoe manufacturers at the track and field stadium?
HDAV
I doubt there will be any trade stands other than McDonald's coca cola etc I think even the competitors aren't allowed to have overtly branded kit cases guns etc Edit: oh and take visa card it's the only way to pay for anything! Gnome of the Woods
McDonalds, Visa, Coca Cola will all be there. You can only use a Visa card to buy anything at any Olympic site. Unless you are an Olympic worldwide sponsor, you will not get within 100yds of any venue.

Dekers
Well, a plan/map of the arena turned up with my tickets and I don't see any trade stands listed!
Gnome of the Woods
There wont be anything other than official olympic worldwide sponsors in the venue. Any if you want to buy anything, gifts ect you will need a visa card, Mastercard will not be accepted. I worked on the olympics in Athens, and even the bubbles where really tight on it! NickS
The sponsorship policy is a joke. They cannot even use proper clays so the traps have had to be adapted to launch Big Macs. Nick
