walshie
I've asked in many butchers round here for raw marrow bones and I might as well be asking for powdered unicorn horn. Surely bulls/cows still have legs, so where are the marrow bones? I can only find cooked ones in the pet store which my dog manages to shatter into razor like shards as soon as she bites them. Does anyone know where to buy raw ones? Thanks
Asa Bear
Where are you? All the butchers in my area will give bones away for free when I buy meat from them.

Asa Bear
That's bad pal. Move up to the midlands, find a friendly butcher & get free bones.
nobbyathome
you obviously have butchers that only buy pre packed and boned meat in your area any proper butcher that deals with beef has marrowbones
steve0146
I used to live near Bisley in Surrey and the butcher there would give you bones for free. I always felt guilty just asking for bones so always bought some sausages as well!
PERCE
Try asking for lamb breasts or frames as a lot of butchers will give these away.
