Marrow Bones

I've asked in many butchers round here for raw marrow bones and I might as well be asking for powdered unicorn horn. Surely bulls/cows still have legs, so where are the marrow bones?

I can only find cooked ones in the pet store which my dog manages to shatter into razor like shards as soon as she bites them.

Does anyone know where to buy raw ones?

Thanks

Dunno what sort of butchers you have mate? Proper butchers want to unload as many as they can as they cost a fair bit to dispose of for commercial outfits

spot on kent we have to pay good money to have our bone taken away we too give our bones away to our customers if your butcher dont have any then they are buying boneless vac pack meat,

we butcher our own cattle reared on the farm so so they come back from the slaughter house on the bone where it gets hung in the fridge for 3-6 weeks before boning unlike the vac packed meats that gets boned and packed at the slaughter house within 2-3 days
