hedd-wyn
I believe they cost roughly between £200 and £250, depending if you want the mouth open or not.
steve_b_wales
An excellent taxidermist, although not living close to you, is my friend John Hallet from south Wales. John does a lot of work for clients who shoot big game etc, to a very high standard. If you google John Hallet Taxidermy, you can check him out. Steve. ayrshiretaxidermy
As above, John Hallett is probably the best fox guy in the UK.
cockercas
I was quoted £400 for mouth closed. £700 for the full fox.
unclestuffy
Be careful what you pay for. Always see the work first and make sure you are happy what you see but generally you do get what you pay for but some good taxidermists. The fox head needs to go straight in the freezer to stop slippage, the longer it is left outside the greater chance of the hair falling off. cockercas
its now sleeping in a ditch. im not paying £300 for a fox head when im ment to be 'saving' abit more for a deposit on a house. i wouldn't of been able to justify it.
