Browning Cynergy pro sport...YES/NO?

Dear all,

I think that I might be in the market for a Browning Cynergy pro Sport?

I have been clay shooting for two years now with (Glenda) my 1986 (Been around a bit) grade 1 325 sporter.

All is going pretty well, but i was thinking of maybe upgrading..

although i`ve never fired one, I do like the look of the Cynergy (pro sport) & find that it feels very well balanced.

Cynergy owners sing its praises...... BUT

I have been told to leave it well alone... keep what ive got, or up grade to a 425/525/725...

thoughts please

Just my opininion as a Browning shooter - leave the Cynergy well alone. I've tried a couple of them and just didn't like them. Main reasons were the reflex recoil system was to soft and felt that the gun(s) bounced on the recoil, they also prevent any L.O.P. adjustment of the stock. They aren't reckoned to be as "reliable" as most Brownings and a lad who shoots with one at one of the shoots i go to has had a few niggles on misfires and trigger locking up.and the seem reasonably common on them if you google it. They also have horrible re-sale value,

Personally if its a clay gun you're after then i'd go for a GP sporter or XS. if its an all rounder then a good 425 is hard to beat in looks and are lovely to shoot. Alternatively Miroku Mk38.

No offence meant to anybody intended just my thoughts :good:
