kaunda
Some years ago these rubber decoys, made of a FUD type rubber material and bearing a lifelike photo pigeon image appeared on the market. They had a very upright stance (easily altered with an appropriate peg ) and were rather pricey. Can anyone recall the trade name of these decoys and does anyone know if they are still available, and from where ?

kaunda
From the order form on the website at Post # 2, I am informed that they are ' not delivering to my area (Lincolnshire ) at present '. Impressive website but gives no idea of who or where they are and the sole contact appears to be through e-mail,no phone etc which raises an eyebrow or two.Anyone any experience of the firm or from whom,in the retail world, the decoys may be available.Nothing ( at present ) on usual internet auction/sale sites. andy_s
Crawford's in S****horpe sell them, or they did the last time I was in there. Probably not a million miles away from you if you're in Lincolnshire.

shakin stevens
Are they worth the extra over flocked shells though? flocked coated are not as expensive, and they is not much movement with prodecoy, but just like fuds folk adjusted them to work better, they are a good looking decoy and work well and look the part, but out the wrapper flock coated would win my vote because of the movement and less fuss, mine are going under the knife to make them better they have never split or faded its just the system inside very poor for the price, but i would not change them for anything else until they are knackered and i would say they will last a long time. My pro decoys have faded badly - they now look a funny purple colour. I'm not sure if the pigeons care, but i actually prefer fuds, now. wymberley
If you're prepared to pay a fair old sum for a product which has received some valid criticism, you may like to have a shufti at Uttings' emporium and cast your eye at something so durable it (they) could become a family heirloom; namely the flexicoy for which the only criticism that has ever been is that of weight. The quality more than justifies the price.
