magnum
when we had our log burner last year there was a lad selling them for £45 per 1 ton bag (we had 2bags of him)but had to pick them up for that ( but now get all the scrap wood from work) Edited September 18, 2012 by magnum
ferguson_tom
We sell our logs for about £100.00 a load which is a small tractor tipping trailer load so about the same size as a flat bed transit. Also 25kg size sacks for a bout a £5.00. So price your paying sounds about right.
cockercas
Have you got a trailer? Go strike a deal with a couple of builders. You take all the wood and they get a few cases of beer. Saves going in a skip.

flynny
no trailer but allways see loads of skips full...might have to invest in a tow bar and trailer.. Building timber is good but burns quickly , you want proper timber to be used as fuel ie properly seasoned logs they burn like coal, ATB Flynny

.philmypower.
Hi Archie do you have a trailer, do a lot of tree work in Manchester for national grid, always trying to get rid of wood when we're up there as its too far to carry back. We keep all the local stuff (north Wales) but Next time got a big job in your area, sure we could sort something out. Pm me your number if interested and I'll see what I can do
