chilly
There many things it could be , gas valve, pcb, fan, air switch... Don't mess ring a gas safe registered engineer
ditchman
if it is a sealed system. and you have bled the radiators too quickly the water pressure will drop....if the pressure drops too much it will sense there is not enough pressure to operate the system....check the pressure on the boiler and if it has gone down then find the fill cock and open it and watch the pressure come back up...then re-ignite the system.....apart from that unless you are a boiler engineer there aint much more you can safely do........... aga man
have a look on the boiler around the controls for a brown/red plastic reset button. press it and if it clicks the boiler will start.

chilly
I would also say that what some of you are talking about is a combi, the o/p has described a system boiler. I am gas registered, never mess with a boiler, even if you THINK you know what your doing

Clearly not from what o/p said.. Somehow throughout this thread I appear to be 2 mins behind the last poster. Note to self, read thread, then reply!
