not too sure if this should be in sporting pics but just thought i would show you the pigeon pie that i made with my own fair hands. i am by no means a chef of any sorts but thought i would seek out a recipe on the net and try it out. the whole family enjoyed the pie made with woodpigeon and servevd with carrots and peas from the garden. unfortunately the wife found a shotgun pellet in hers but on the whole it was lovely. next time you shoot a bag keep a few back and make a pie. :drool:

thanks for the comments lads, it really was as tasty as it looks. it was made with pigeon breast meat, mushrooms, bacon bits and shallots. the sauce/gravy was made with a bottle of pedigree ale :drool: your right about the peas and pastry dougy i need to work on them. swear i didn't know about the pellet taxidriver :lookaround: good job it wasn't a steel one could have got expensive :|
