red_stag88
I know a bloke whom i stalk with who has got half a hand on one arm, laterally, so he has no fingers and very little hand, yet he can still put 3 rounds in a 1inch groupe at 150 yds. Thats a good hunter...
colin ni
a good hunter is someone who learns something everytime they go outand remembers it for the future and will pass it on to the future generation also a good hunter is a safe hunter wether they are shooting fishing or rideing agood hunter has to watch and learn from the older guys like tc and its their duty to teach them well and safely numbers dont count its quality that counts and the ability to do things in the right manner wheter is shooting a high bird or dropping a dry flie on a trouts nose i would shoot one high pigeon than 100 sitting in atree

rjimmer
To get results, a hunter has to think as if he were his quary. Where is the warmest place to be at the moment? Where is the safest place to be at the moment? Where is the wind at the moment? What happened when I was here last time? What can I see from here? What was that noise? etc., etc., etc.
brooktrout
The warmest place for a rabbit is about gas mark 4. The safest place is in front of Tiercels shotgun, Dont know about the wind etc, but there may be a bit of noise when Tiercel reads this. Sorry Rjimmer, couldnt resist!.
