Whitebridges
I bought a Benelli Rafaello Semi Auto earlier in the year and it is a cracking gun. I use it mainly for pigeon shooting. The only thing I wasn't that keen on was the balance ( muzzle flips with heavier loads) and the **** quality of the knob that keeps the forend on the gun. I've had several scraps with this getting it off even though it has been lubed and well worn in. So what to do? Well I found an after market Briley version (pictures below) which I bought from Ray at Chris Potter's. Superb service and faultless advice. The price was steep for what it is but it has transformed the gun. Anyone else got a bigger knob? Anyone got trouble with their existing knob? Thanks gents. This is the old troublesome one. New on the left. Briley on the end on the new one. New knob fitted on the gun. figgy
Catamong and a few others shoot Benelli guns, the weighted mag cap is normally one of the first mods done. Check posts there are quite a few mods and upgrades for them. Figgy
Iggy
I've got the same on my Supersort and it really helps with the balance.
EdSolomons
I have a 10oz one on my 391 for igeon/auto shoots. Getting Briley to knock up a 14oz one shortly.

Whitebridges
Replies greatly appreciated chaps. I would never have thought one of these would have such a positive affect. Great bit of kit. I thought £46 a bit steep though but there you go.

Ed at 14oz you can use it as a hammer head, but if you want it to swing and mimmick your k80 it should work. The barrel weight clamps look like they could work with a mag cap aswell. SPARKIE
doubles up as a but plug too....all the essex mafia have them.
EdSolomons
The clamps have a habit of moving and can mark the barrel. Not a problem on a pigeon gun but wouldn't fancy it on something nice. 14oz on the front and some more packed into the stock and she makes a mean bird stopper :-)
Whitebridges
Mines got lead in the butt, who's hasn't ? What the **** does a 14 oz Essex butt plug look like?
