bruno22rf
Just run my 2 cars thru the multi-car website (Shogun 3.5 v6 and a Saab 95 Aero) and was quoted £985-******* hell !!!.My Saab is just under £350 with my normal insurer and the Shoggie was just under £400 before it was sorned. As its impossible to drive both cars at once why are Admiral so expensive? Why dont they quote for the more expensive vehicle and accept the fact that sometimes you will be driving the cheaper one yet paying a higher premium.?? Well thats 10 minutes of my life I will never get back (or waste again ) Edited October 26, 2012 by bruno22rf

clakk
only got single car with them but there were 300 quid cheaper than all else .probably cos people on multicar are paying for me ,cheers
amateur
When they first launched multicar, I found it cheaper to cover both our cars on the one policy, however on renewal the quote for their single car policies for the individual cars were cheaper than the multicar - go figure? Anyway I always shop around for the best deal year to year, and Admiral currently ain't it
dorianbuilders
I'd never use admiral again, we had a really bad experience with them charging the other insurance company extortionate hire car rates when we were hit!
HDAV
Just gone with them on multicast they rang me up after I got the online price told them it was higher than individual they dropped to a better price wait for phone call Monday! BerettaSV10
If you see an insurance agent who know what they are doing, you can insure one as normal (assuming you have no claims discount). Then they look for aonther insurance company or even the same insurance company that are willing / able to carry over the no claims bonus as like a introductory offer (can't remember what the official name for it is called). When the second policy comes up for renewal it shows you still have the full no claims benifit, but the no claims part will show say 60 % no claims given, with say 30% no claims earned, as the years go on the earned no claims will rise as normal insural and the none earned decreases until theres none left. Not all companies will do this and you might need to shop around.
