Are you allowed to import chokes from America by post?

I tried to buy a Briley barrel extension recently from the US but was told I couldn't by Briley as they and chokes are gun parts.

May have to look at this again as the price was a lot cheaper even after duties.

A mate of mine has bought Briley chokes from the US and had them shipped over without any problems.

I sent 4 Muller chokes and some reloading hulls and wads to a buddy and they have been at customs since Nov 5th .When you look at thier web site you will find it very dificult to find a phone number they will answer and when you email you get an autimated reply telling you they will be in touch within 15 days they are absolutely useless

That's unusual, I emailed them and was informed that they will not deal with individuals in the U.K. as Chris Potter sells Briley parts.

Just spoke to my mate clay shooting today and can confirm that he gets Briley chokes from the States as the price is the same in dollars as it is in pounds from Chris Potters. In fact he said he is waiting for some at the moment that he has ordered.
