texas
I had another outing with the ns200 last night but this time I decided to fit it to my .17 hmr. I walked around for a couple of hours on freshly sprutting wheat and some rape fields. After a while my fingers were going numb even with decent gloves on. Packed up at 10pm and ended up with this little lot.

texas
I'm interested in one of these set ups. What range do you get with it? Good bag On a dark night you can see ok to about 250 yds but on a moonlit night out to about 400 yds maybe a little further
texas
nice bag im another thnking about getting the same set up how do you rate it? do you always use it scanning about for rabbits or use a lamp to spot from a distance Sometimes I use a 1000 lumen led torch to spot and another time I just scan with the nite site. Either way its a fab piece of kit. But you need to be travelling light if you have to walk far.

al4x
the battery is but more importantly you don't want to be waving the rifle about to scan its not the safe option
texas
Battery is worn on your belt but like al4x says you dont really want to be scanning the fields with a loaded rifle. Its also quicker to have a flick around with the led torch.
redtailhawk1
I take it you scan around then load up when you are ready to shoot.
