Visit the BASC website. Firearms section: Guidance and factsheets: scroll down to "factsheets" and there is one on "Borrowing Shotguns". It has been amended to reflect the firearms amendment act 2010 so is up to date. It is free and downloadable. If you haven't done so already it may be prudent to ensure that your "Permission" is aware of what you would like to do and you can always show him the download if there are any doubts. Good Luck. HTH.

Careful though, I did this and ended up buying her a bloody gun not to mention that she hasn't Shot rifles before so did as she was told and is quite easily a better Shot than me.

tell me bout it, I bought her a bsa super 10 today, but when she saw the mossberg hushpower 410 I bought for me, her remarks were NOW I LIKE THAT!!!!!

so the bsa is mine, its a little to heavy for her, and I'll get her a lighter pcp, but you know, when were over the woodland, she'll want to use the 410
