apache
We LOVE the channel islands. So nice and relaxing. Guernsey is more unspoilt, but more to do on Jersey. Been three times and will go back this summer. You can even go and shoot pistols: http://www.jerseypistolclub.info/ They just let you use a .22RF pistol with no recoil. The missus had a go and enjoyed it.

ColinF
We have stayed in the Armani Apartments in St. Brelade and would recommend them. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/LocationPhotos-g551611-d1099431-Amani_Luxury_Self_Catering_Apartments-St_Brelade_Jersey_Channel_Islands.html Just across the road from a sandy beach, where the water is very shallow and ideal for kids
HDAV
Lots of camp sites etc and pistol club is great! War tunnels well worth a visit we stayed in St Helier have friends that live there.
apache
St. Brelade is beautiful. We stayed in a slightly odd little cottage, but needed somewhere we could take the dog. Quite old fashioned. If you have kids I'd aim for St. Brelade's bay.
FOXHUNTER1
Ive been to Jersey , beautiful island. It doesnt matter where you stay as it is that small. A visit to the German hospital is well worth it , fascinating , and also the Zoo where you can see the unusual aye-aye !!
Gordon R
Been to both, but prefer Guernsey. Jersey is fine, but I never took to St Helier. They have ruined the character of the place, by re-developing the sea front / marina. I agree about St Brelade's Bay.
