Duffryn
Finally finished editing the video of me shooting with my brother ( we settled on the first bird being 50/50 and the 2nd bird being mine !). I'm trying to make the videos more interesting so tested the dog cam and a couple of new angles. Some worked some didn't. Hopefully I will be able to improve them and get some better angles before the end of the season. I'm out Pigeon shooting tomorrow so will try and get some more dog cam clips. Would appreciate feedback on what you think works and what doesn't http://youtu.be/SKe7FOGc-ds

Duffryn
you have 3 go pro's even rob has his own now Great footage and your brothers a better shot Rob is after an "agent " now. To be fair to my brother he kicks my **** at walked up and fox shooting so I don't feel to bad about maybe having a small edge on driven days. .philmypower.
MINE MINE MINE lol, nothing like a bit of banter. I enjoyed that Iain. Have you had any joy mounting the cam on the top of the collar yet? Great vid

Duffryn
MINE MINE MINE lol, nothing like a bit of banter. I enjoyed that Iain. Have you had any joy mounting the cam on the top of the collar yet? Great vid Thanks Phil. It was great having him along, really made the day. Rob has a fair bit of loose skin and so when I mount the camera on top it wobbles left and right. I don't want to over tighten it - still working on a solution. Will be interested to see how you get on, though you have the added complication of loosing it in the rough. On top of the collar would give the best video if we can get it to stop moving

.philmypower.
Yeah the cover is an issue, I think under slung for beating but would love to get it on top for when shooting & picking up, will also make good footage on duck retrieving. Paul223
could you weight the underside to keep camera on top
Duffryn
could you weight the underside to keep camera on top Duh ! Why didn't I think of that . I think that will make a big difference THANK YOU !
.philmypower.
Not sure if that's the answer Paul, just watched the sugar videos by the company and they seem to have theirs attatched quite tight. The footage there getting is Awsome though, just going to be a case of trail and error I think mate. It fits around my terrier too only under slung but will be good for ratting. What you thinking of using to weigh it down?

What you thinking of using to weigh it down? I'm nervous about having it that tight but its probably OK. I've just tested a 6oz fishing weight on the bottom ( not a real solution just to prove the point) and it did make a big difference. I need to try and find a mini diving belt weight or something along those lines that wont interfere with his throat or his breathing and will sit around the bottom of the collar
Paul223
what does the go pro weigh? could you cast a lump of lead just a tad heavier and attach it
.philmypower.
Sounds good, not too keen on putting it too tight myself as you say it will prob be ok but ill play around with it and see what I can come up with.
Duffryn
what does the go pro weigh? could you cast a lump of lead just a tad heavier and attach it Not much but the issue seems to be that with the bracket it sits quite high off his neck and its this height that causes it to slip. I'm going to try ditching the bracket and try and find a smooth weight for the bottom of the collar
Paul223
a couple of strips of lead flashing and some duck tape, see if it works and if so work toward a more permanent fix
