David BASC
Morning all, I am happy to tell you that Paul Dale, a former firearms licensing manager for Staffordshire and West Midlands Police, has joined the BASC firearms team to help provide expert advice to members. More on the BASC web site. Regards to all, David Edited January 24, 2013 by David BASC

matone
Good to see BASC acting in response to the increasing problems caused by inefficient/incompetent firearms depts. Anyone who shoots and is not a member should be ashamed. BASC are our ONLY hope !

MiLisCer
Be quite amusing if he now tries to get FLMs to adopt the AOLQ condition then!
HDAV
While i think this is great, does the expansion mean the current teams workload has increased? If so is this due to more shooters (hopefully) or more issues (unhopefully) for the same number of shooters....
cowboy1403
will make a change for him to follow the rules instead of making them up
David BASC
The team certainly are busy, handling hundreds of calls per month. At the same time there are other strategic issues that we must get on top of such as airgun licencing threats in Scotland, Royal Mail, Home Office Guidance reviews and so on. Paul certainly has his work cut out! David
