Yes it's frustrating when they come to the squeak like a dog to a bitch on heat and it's too close to use a rifle and the shotgun is locked up safe at home :lol:

 

I've never had a fox that was to close to shoot with the rifle Ive :good:

 

Closest i shot was 2 yards away and still coming :lol: ......I didn't use the scope i just looked down the side of the barrel and pulled the trigger.

This thread hopefully will enlighten ferretboy111 about headshots being the last resort as he seems convinced they are the best shots to take ,nothing other than that really :lol:

With a 6.5, accurate round is that....

 

I've never heard of centre fire ricochets either - this is just overkill!!

 

 

I have seen ricochets when standing behind someone firing 50 cal tracer and that wasn't even in a rocky environment :angry:
