Chef1982
Hello I'm new to the forum. Tomorrow I am picking up my first gun. It is a secondhand air arms tx200 mk3. I have used friends airrifles on many occasions and enjoy shooting targets but feel I am ready to move on to live quarry once I have familiarised myself with my gun. I look forward to learning from fellow users of the forum and gain knowledge through your experience, eventually giving me the confidence to move on to higher spec guns in the future. Cheers guys Chef1982

TJ91
Welcome to the site. Sounds like you are doing everything in a very sensible way, good on you not just dashing out to shoot live quarry!
Chef1982
Thanks, no I don't believe in just taking quarry without knowing how to do it properly. If I'm not confident I can make a clean kill then I'm not pulling the trigger.

Chef1982
go out with him a bit if yu can then mate and get some experiance off him good luck and happy shooting Yeah I'm going to, he is very experienced and teaches gun safety and etiquette. I am hoping he can show me all I need to know to get by, setting my scopes maintaining the gun etc. I'm sure I should find permission somewhere as I am surrounded by farms and moorland.
