Alecheywood
Will having both in the field lessen your chances of a good bag?
ditchman
this question was asked a few months ago.....my personal view is that i always take one crow decoy with me and put it 25-40 yards away from the pattern, i think pigeons feel secure when they see a crow nearby as they are such a whiley bird......birds use each other as alarms...you just need to see and hear it in your garden........ Richard.Hosgood
Have seen pigeons and crows all mixed together in huge flocks feeding, so don't think it matters at all! I always put out both, mix them up a little and put a seperate a little flock of crows to one side of the main pattern, doesn't seem to do any harm! linny
i like to put a few crows out to one side of my main pigeon pattern .crows come in for a look around and then bang it also seems to give pigeons a bit more confidence

TIGHTCHOKE
Like other posters I carry crow decoys and often place them to one side of the pigeon decoy pattern.

Would you use a few pigeon decoys just to the side if you went crow decoying? Yup. Decoy crows in a farm yard fairly often and have half a dozen pigeons out to the side. Do I think it attracts more crows? Nope but it certainly pulls the odd pigeon and feral lol. Karpman
