If English was not his first language, then I'm Sure his question was lost in translation.

 

I way thinking the same but asked him to repeat he explained shoot rabbit ,pigeon how far. Also said shipping to rfd was not a option for him and can he collect .. I explained the a sub 12ftlb can be sent by Royal Mail .. It just felt a little off.

I think a few on here have had enquiries about a gun they've had for sale that somehow didn't sound or feel quite right ?

 

I had a person who sounded of foreign persuasion who wanted to travel from Heathrow to buy an £80 shotgun, then said he was getting a licence but didnt have it yet, I refused, next day he phoned offering extra money, again I refused and he got a bit shirty and abusive, Again I politely declined to sell, 2 days later he wanted to bring his 'Uncle' who supposedly had a SG certificate to buy the gun on his behalf.

I suggested we meet at the Police station and conduct the transaction there and was told in no uncertain terms and suddenly much better english where to go and what to do with meself lol

Just had someone call up about a air rifle I'm selling. His english not the best but, First question he asked was how far can it kill! ummm I think il do the shooting community and the poor rabbits a favour and say iv sold it ...

 

What u wanting for it got a few rats and woodpigeons on my allotment
