dadrew
Sorry if this has been asked before, but which way round should I put my Bouncers? Should the head of the bird/decoy be facing the pole or away from the pole. If someone could post a picture that would be cool!

Greenhunter
As I've never used a bouncer (hard to believe I know)I'm not 100% sure but from what I've seen, isn't it difficult to put a bird on any other way than facing the rod? Now, if you were talking about a Floater it is easy to get it wrong. Won't work too well if you do tho. They go on facing away from the rod. Bobba
I don't know the answer but It seems to me that if you look at our sponsors website and the "V" splitters that go on the bouncer poles, then the only way the sharp end of the pole extension goes into the pigeon is up its harris and spreading the wings on the V section. so on bouncers the bird faces away from the pole. On floaters, which operate differently, with decoys in wire frames for the rocking motion, the decoy faces the pole. Whether that's the correct definition I really don't know but it's how mine work out in the field.
NickB65
The bird faces the pole as the wind will blow the bird away from the pole base so it must face the pole or face into the wind - otherwise it will be flying backwards....
