Alycidon
Looks like this is another stupid bit of red tape, all employers must advise the govt the day before they pay beaters anything. Fines everywhere if not. Suggest shoot managers read the article in the current Shooting Times. A
beeredup
i dont see how they are going to enforce this on every shoot in the land?? tax inspectors hiding in the wilds of britain in cammo on the off chance to stumble accross a shoot? for me its just another piece of male bovine excrement legislation belched up by the goverment in some avoid the reall issue but look half busy kinda way while we bleed the country dry on expenses and hand outs until its some other pocket lining bar staff's get elected in!! misser
what next, how on earth could this ever be policed? - load of cr** - sure it must be high on hmrc's list if a few people earn £10-20 every other saturday - obviously will contribute billions in tax to rid us of our huge debt or will it create thousands of jobs as new urban tax collectors - totally agree with the male bovine excrement - talk about priorities! - rant over - atb - regards
leeds chimp
I think its a good idea...every beater to become self employed.....then you can claim back "work expenses" .....claim your work boots, clothing, mileage, etc...would actually be better off

neil3728
This Real Time Directive, is not just aimed at anyone peopson or industry. Its everyone. The HMRC want to know what everyone earns, and how oftern they are paid. At first this will have nothing to do with the individual its porley a way for the HMRc to calc how much PAYE and NI any business should pay over per monthe / Qtr to theem, as at the moment there is only one check down at the end of every tax year. yes eventually when the software is up to scratch they may use it to work out individual benefits etc. but that menas the HMRc would have to talk between themselves which at the moment simply doesn't happen. it will not stop the beaters recieving £20 cash. As this has never been declarded and never will.
