whitey10765666 Posted March 5, 2013 Report Share Posted March 5, 2013 (edited) Just disassembled two RC helicopters for the receivers to put into my flappers, works blooming great at any distance now,not like the remote i bought that would never turn off, and died on me. at £400 a piece expensive flappers that's for sure, never could fly the ******* anyway, it cost a fortune rebuilding them all the time,,, mmmm wonder what i can use the servos for., answers on a post card please lol oops just realised it should have gone on the diy section sorry. lakeside1000 Posted March 9, 2013 Report Share Posted March 9, 2013 2.4 gig transmitter and receiver from hobbyking.com is only about £30 with the postage, why wreck a perfectly good heli which even damaged would sell on ebay for a lot more dosh, I've been thinking about rigging my magnet and flapper with receivers and speed controllers , much easier to operate from the hide with the transmitter. or I could fit guns on my planes to shoot down pigeons, wonder how i get that one past the firearms officer.
