Paladin
I think you answered the question yourself. It aint going to do much to the gallon. If you're after a Shogun/Pajero go for a diesel I had the 2.5 swb and couldn't fault it even with veg oil in it would do 25 even with my size 12s (The 2.5 struggles in the lwb)
Sussexboy
I have the Shogun Sport 3 Litre V6. I get around 26mpg on a run, but only about 18mpg running around locally. I do like them though, this is my second one, last one was a mk1 Shogun that took us camping all over the UK (and I mean all over) with safari roof rack and 3 bikes on the back. Had that for 6 years and had this one for 4 years.
paul041075
Shogun Sport V6 Petrol but have it gassed as well, if your worried about fuel consumption then stay away, do about 18 on petrol similar on gas but less money for LPG. However you can pick petrol cars up alot less than diesels, sometimes it can take a few years to make the difference up. Go on a comparison site and look at diesel v petrol, could be cheaper to buy but more to fuel.

muz
I've owned two 3.0ltr v6 swb in the past and mainly did short runs to work and back about 12 mls a day they are juicy a tank full will take you about 220-250 mls if you are lucky, but that is just short runs hope that helps. al4x
That's about right 20mpg or there abouts they are cheap for a reason. If you have one just for shooting and do a very low mileage they are a bargain buy
