trigger kit,or not

I bought a new 452 in .17HMR. The trigger could be altered so much, but not enough for my liking. I bought a YoDave kit off Ebay and just changed one spring. I could'nt believe the difference it made. The trigger pull is very light now, but not enough to cause it to discharge if bumped. I would highly recommend these kits.

Hi mate,I've got the CZ 455 Thumbhole Varmint .17HMR.

I believe the factory setting trigger weight pull on this rifle is 4lbs.I bought a Trigger Kit from www.rimfiremagic.co.uk and I put the hardest spring in the Trigger and is down to 2.2lbs now and fires much much nicer.

I wasnt gonna buy a Trigger kit but after buying one i would highly recommend it.For around £14 it's money well spent IMO and comes complete with instructions.

Only YOU can decide if your CZ needs trigger work.

I have had a number of CZ rimfires.

MY current .22lr and my last WMR were/are original and fine, my lads .22lr is ok but not great (he is happy) my latest HMR was awful and my latest WMR wasn't good, I have replaced both of those with the Brooks kit.

If you need trigger work my opinion is the various trigger kits (£8.50-£15) are probably the best and cheapest money you will ever spend on a rifle accessory/replacement! :good:

Hi all ive got a cz 455 hmr and thinking of changing the trigger so its a lighter pull Are the kits easy to change

Mine was simple. I just removed a spring, which came off easily, and changed it to a lighter one. It improved the pull and feel of the trigger so much, that I did'nt have to do anything else.

I bought the YoDave kit off Ebay.

Do you cut 2" off the end of the barrel also with a hacksaw .Do all the safe people in this world a favour and take it to a good gunsmith , I am a mechanical fitter and do stuff like this for a living but I am not insured to mess with triggers, so I took mine to the gunsmith and got it done for the grand price of £10 and set a 2.4lb. Now I will be covered if I ever had a freak accident. Would you like some ones death on your hands.

All the best Albert.
