davew
Not been out for nearly 2 weeks as no birds at all feeding on the fields where I have permission. The keeper tells me there are a couple of thousand come into the woods to roost then fly out and go elsewhere the next morning. Maybe once the peas come through they will feed closer to home ? motty
I wouldn't really expect the pigeons to hit the peas properly for another month or so. There is just too much choice at the moment, with drilling still being done and the poor rape fields which will keep the pigeons happy for a while yet. fenboy
Had a look at mine this evening 7 fields spread over a few miles and nothing on any of them yet . There was a couple of hundred on one last week but the bangers and kites have put them off for now , I am sure they will gradually find their way back over the coming weeks though.
