bikemad24
i want a trigger kit for my cz 452 17hmr. should i buy a complete trigger kit like the timney or just go for the spring kit from rimfire magic. i want to make the trigger a little easier to pull. obviously there is a big difference in cost but id rather do it once than have to pull it apart again. cheers
bullet boy
I just bought a Rimfiremagic Trigger Kit for my CZ 455 and I gotta say what a difference this new spring has made to the pull weight. It was I believe at 4lbs before but with this new spring its now a sweet 2.25lbs. Definitely recommend this if you don't want to spend that extra for the whole unit.

ozzy518
If you go the Timney route you will have to do a bit of inletting on your stock. A trigger kit is much simpler
delburt0
Who are Roger and Sheila . ? they are rim fire magic aka South Yorkshire shooting supplies, dare I say getting slightly long in the tooth they have been doin this all there lives and are the original founders , Sheila probably knows more about rifles than 99% on here , and that's without looking at roger if they can't sort your needs out 1st time there's something wrong Edited April 28, 2013 by delburt0

Albert 888
I will look for the number if you wish then send via pm. Also you are more than welcome to try my cz trigger but it will be a dry fire exercise only. Mine has been great since its been done, had a few problems along the way with extraction and poor bolt but managed to sort out.I thought the trigger would settle in but it didn't hence having it sorted. Now can shoot freehand quite well. All the best Albert. field and falcon it is then. im only 15 mins from buckley. good job there a few people on here from north wales! matone
Tried a trigger kit for a while, then bought a Timney, much better, transforms a CZ to another league. Worth every penny.
Dekers
Plenty of people stick with the original CZ triggers and still hit things fine. Lots of people change to a spring and tube conversion (several kits available) and this does everything the vast majority want and totally transforms the original CZ trigger. If this isn't enough I can but assume people are looking at serious target work (which is a little odd with a CZ) because I can't imagine many need any more in the field than the spring/tube kit provides! sitsinhedges
After fitting the middle strength spring to my new 455 tonight I'm amazed at how it has transformed an awful heavy trigger into a dream one
bazzab
For my pennys worth, I've emailed rimfire tragic 3 times enquiring about a trigger kit. Sod all reply. Not impressed they won't be getting my business.
Psyxologos
Plenty of people stick with the original CZ triggers and still hit things fine. I was going to say that. Admittedly I have only had a 100 shots from my 452 american in .17hmr, but I do not see where the fuss is. the trigger is fine, not hard to pull or jumpy at all... jonnys
I've got a 452 17hmr which I've had from new for about 4 months or so and shot probably 1,000 rounds through. I was the same as you to start with - couldn't understand what all the fuss about the trigger was as it seemed perfectly adequate to me. But wait till you've shot it a bit more, you'll find you take aim, pull up the slack on the trigger, and then when you squeeze to fire and it doesn't go bang immediately there's a bit more pull left - I now understand this to be called 'trigger creep'. I'm getting my trigger adjusted/changed next week. At first it won't annoy you, but when you start extending your range out to 150m you defo want the gun to go off when you want the gun to go off and not when some CZ gun engineer wants it to! LOL! Any minor delay at those ranges and you clean miss, or at least i do! I was going to say that. Admittedly I have only had a 100 shots from my 452 american in .17hmr, but I do not see where the fuss is. the trigger is fine, not hard to pull or jumpy at all... We all have a different take on this and mine is quite simply after 2 emails and no response I'm sure as hell not wasting any more time on them and I'll give my business to someone else. Ring up, pay, recieve a couple of days later. Job done
