Davyo
I shoot for a farmer controlling rabbits (under closed ticket), anyway he approached me and said because i'd done such a good job on his land he's giving me additional permission to shoot over to his other farm.I went and drove round it on Tuesday with him to see what need to be done.I advised that i needed to inform Durham as i had closed ticket.I send Durham an email on Wednesday night to ask them to add this to my record & approve as on closed ticket. When i got in form work today 15:00, i checked my emails & they had replied saying they had contacted farmer & that i have the all clear to start shooting & it has been added to my file.It seem a closed ticket isn't the be all & end all.And really happy with Durhams quick response which means i can crack on. keg
Nice result all round, both for you and a bigger permission and the speed of Durham. Well done, get out there and enjoy!

phaedra1106
Pity they are telling me up to 14 days for even a simple 1 for 1 variation,. In fact it's only a change of action type from bolt to break (as they insist on the action type being listed) but they still reckon 14 days with full background checks and a written request stating intended use, club memberships etc., for a slot that was only put on my fac less than 2 weeks ago (so all checks, usage etc. have just been done!). phaedra1106
I did the same, change of address, notified them and had the visit next day, took a week to get my SGC back in the post, and 2-1/2 months for my FAC!!!, they were unhappy with the solid slug conditions (which they put on about 6 months ago) and after a complete waste of my time and my clubs time it eventually came back . . . . . with exactly the same conditions as it had to start with :( And when I did get it back It had my S&W MP15-22 semi auto on as a bolt action and the chief constables signature in the box I'm supposed to sign! :( Edited May 5, 2013 by phaedra1106
