SNS
Guys - just secured my first permission as am more of a game shooter usually. I now need to get some kit to do the permission justice. Any recommendations as to good websites where I can get a starter package of hide etc etc etc ? Many thanks in advance (and yep I'll take some of you with me as soon as have settled in !) demonwolf444
What sort of land is it? whats abundant and whats not, best thing to do on a new permission is to walk around it early in the morning and late in the evening and see what is there and what isnt there. Get a good idea of the lay of the land and whats going on.

Fielder
I have often wondered this, What should come first? the kit or the permission? Seems like a shame to invest money into something i might not get the chance to ever actually use if i cant get land?

Any chance you can get on this today or tomorrow ? I'd say if you're serious about getting into the sport, then get some basics, a dozen shell decoys and a net being the bare minimum. neil3728
I got my permission before I had any of the gear, couldn't afford to waste the money as land is so had to get. Farmer asked if I had anything I told him the truth. No yet but will asap, he was happy with that.

I am after a few crow decoys, maybe 6/7 FUD. I have a net and a crow caller so that should see me right till I get some more active permission.
