walt1980
I know it's been widely discussed etc on here but thought I'd add this pic from a round fired last night, it's a Federal V shok. Pulled trigger and click ???? Bang! Could of been nasty!
turbo33
I stopped using Hornadays for this reason. Changed to Winchesters and haven't had the problem again in over 250 rounds
walt1980
Had a few different brands to try just to see how the zero changes, not had any hornadys split, fired about 500 this year, had 5 out of 20 remington split, the federal in the pic and a cci split! I'm sticking to hornady I reckon! Might get a f Box or 2 winch esters and try tho! Edited May 16, 2013 by walt1980

pegasus bridge
The neck splitting is quite common, seemingly without any negative repercussions. But I've never seen one that badly split.
