wymberley
Guys, Always bought Harris but now want an extra 9 - 13 swivel purely for use from the truck top with the Anschutz carbine LR. Simply, do I or don't I? I can happily use the £40 saved elsewhere but that is not the priority - a half decent bit of kit is. Cheers
al4x
do you want that high from a truck top, the 6-9 works beautifully from mine on its minimum height
Peskyfoxs
I bought one and took it back, legs kept shooting out on their own and just wasn't the same quality as the Harris, tried on a22lr and .243 as bad on both
wymberley
Thanks, al4x, but yes I do as I'm about waist ish height through the hatch. Just had a shufti and the answer is,'no'. Compared to the Harris, the swivel action is as rough as - well, yes! Also had a look at the Rock Mount and actually bought one - for about 5 minutes. The swivel action tension is set by a lever which, if you hold the bipod head so that you can rock the swivel action, you will see it steadily slacken off to the fully loose position. Fortunately, I was still in the shop car park so was able to promptly return it - the shop staff I left scratching their heads having tried it and agreed with me. Not far off, bit unnerving when with the legs folded up and one "boings" out as you take a shot Ninja quiet it is not
