lead dripping

Recommended Posts

It's regulations now apparently.

Strangely, a lot of scrap dealers say they can't resell to the public. I don't know why.

If there is any truth in this....then, if it is illegal for the public to buy lead, then it is illegal for people to GIVE LEAD to the public.....then, if this is the case, then it will be ILLEGAL to own lead.....and illegal to use it.......LEAD SHOT BANNED....END OF.....

Watch out!

There's no doubt some health and safety angle to it but the big scrappies wont resell it.

Maybe they're worried you'll drop it on your toe and sue them.

i think it is because the lead they get could of come from anywhere like batteries and contain allot of sulphuric acid.

so they are not supposed to sell it on for obvious reasons.

after it has been processed and purified then it can be sold.

the best bet is not to let the scrap dealers get their hands on it in the first place :good:
