Blakloks
Anybody heard about these being faulty in the fronteras about the 200-01 reg
NIGHT SEARCHER
Yes i had a 2000 V reg and the pump just stopped working no warning at all. The pump is inside the fuel tank with no excess plate. You have to drop the fuel tank down to get the pump out. Make sure you get the right pump has there are a few different ones diesel & Petrol. The petrol ones run at 45 psi no ****. New pump from a main agent £100. Ebay around £50. You will more than likely find the fuel pipes on top of the tank are very corroded. New pipes were discontinued in 06 there isn`t any in the UK main agents. I had to re-place mine with rubber fuel pipe. Check your fuel filler pipe from body to tank they rust and start to leak and are £98. Take it off de-rust it and paint it with red lead or hammerite. Your tank is plastic with a heavy steel cover plate.

NIGHT SEARCHER
Which pump are you meaning the fuel pump is inside the fuel tank has i have said. The injector pump on the 2.2 Diesel engine are fly by wire has most are now. They can fail has any injector pump can and for a reconditioned ECU electronic injector pump. £650 to £850 plus fitting. karpman
If it has the single plug going into the pump you may pick up a recon for 400-600 quid. If it has to plugs going into the Ecu on the pump your looking at serious money. What issues are you facing, there prone to injectors also. Lord Geordie
If its the Bosch unit you can.send away the EDC unit for repair. About £299. This is the fault 95% of the time. Takes about 25 mins of your own time to remove and reinstall the unit.
