simon6ppc
hi guys, we got our pheasants today and after we had got them all in the pen all nice and calm, i checked out some old fox holes to close for comfort to be honest.right away i see a chicken leg and some lambs ear tags and that lovely smell, the hole was empty only a week since so they must of just moved in,so tonight at 8.30 i went back with wind in my face to wait to see who would show, after an hour and a quarter of midges and pigeons landing all around above me,this adult big dog fox just nice a cool just walked his way back to the hole, i was only 70 yard from the hole as any where else i could,nt see so i just put the cross hairs in front of him and as he walked through the scope i just pulled the trigger,he went down instant as a 22.250 a that range is not to be messed with, there was no big exit hole or any thing but that happens some times, the second picture is where i was waiting led down.when i got home i looked like a spotty teenager with the midges, but to me it was well worth it .cheers simon....
