Red Stags Tomorrow!

Recommended Posts

Nope, aimed for the chest, and the bullet a Hornady Interlock broke into shards. Lungs were punctured as was the liver and diaphragm but not badly enough to drop the animal.

So the next one went into the neck (needed to drop the ****** as he was nearing my boundary) and that didnt exit either. But it did kill the deer.

I was thinking that the interlocks aren't renowned for that problem :whistling:

sounds like the analysis of the last muntjac I had to go out and find for a mate shot with a 308, that had gone in and deflected doing much the same damage. I found it for him but left the gralloching to him

dont speed them up, slow them down so they push though rather that trying to smash through.

Im about to load with n140 for the fallow so will let you know the out come, i always run slow in the 6.5. i was using the 120 hotcore but i might as well use v-max as i had more holes than a pin cushion.

First i will be playing with the 7x57 for the short woodland stuff.
