old rooster
+1 I would love to see Cal Moto GP world champion one day Me too but that is going to be one hell of an ask while Marquez is still on the scene. He did a Rossi on Rossi at Laguna and I've got a feeling he could be around and very competitive for some years to come.
the enigma
On the face of it,it doesn't sound like a good move, but hopefully Ducati have something in the bag to keep Cal competing at the sharp end.

shaun4860
come on guys we all know what the ducati has been over the last few years but a brit on a full works bike have some faith in him and his ability to turn them round I have faith in him, and it's appearing he had no real choice, Lets hope his style suits the bike or that Audi can get a grip, they're not too shabby at other motor sports Shame Rossi thought he deserved one last swansong, It seems that the money he drags around with him talks. jason kaye
Everybody's saying the only man who was able to ride the ducati was Stoner ,wrong nobody could ride the 1000cc Duke ,Stoner's success was on the 800cc bike a totally different bike that had to carry corner speed ,Cal has committed career suicide by signing for Ducati 'but at least he'll have some cash in the bank when it all goes tits up for him

Go back to the old 990s a few years back with less electronic rider assistance and if you grab a handful you get spat off. Those bikes allowed the good riders to go round the outside or ride a bit ragged and make it up with pure speed, now everyone has to be on the same line just to put in competitive lap times. Getting more and more like (and as boring as) F1 by the minute.
jason kaye
Agreed ,ditch the rider aids and let's see who can actually ride a "bike" these days the electronics don't allow for natural talent, bring back the 500cc two strokes pure race bikes
